About me

I’m flexible in my approach and tailor my work to each individual client. One of my specialisms is trauma (to be more exact, relational trauma – the impact of, for instance, domestic violence whether experienced in adult- or childhood, or growing up emotionally absent caregivers). My training in this area taught me that sometimes the work we do can change over time; that sometimes it's gentle; at other times more challenging, sometimes we may even laugh – but the work I do is always done with great care and respect.

If you’re neurodivergent and have found previous therapy to be a bit stiff or unhelpful, I may be a good fit for you; I’m down to earth, approachable, and love to explore with people wanting to learn more about themselves and problem solve. Oh, and I’m ND myself (Audhd).

Having developed a very keen interest in self-exploration, both through my own personal therapy and during my training (and ongoing, I’m returning to study in October 2025), I am an open, steady and curious therapist; if you’re a counselling student, we may be a great fit!

I love my job and I believe it’s an enormous privilege. Whilst I have particular training behind me, and tools that I can share with you, I’m not here to tell you what to do or offer unwanted advice (you may have enough people in your life doing that already). What I am here to do is offer you space, unbiased listening and support so you can get to where you want to be.
